Try an Instrument Workshops

Give young musicians the chance to experience the joy of traditional Irish music with our Try an Instrument workshops—an exciting opportunity to explore the harp, bouzouki, or uilleann pipes in a fun, supportive setting. Each hands‑on session is led by an experienced tutor and designed to offer children a welcoming introduction to these iconic instruments.

Whether it’s discovering the gentle, magical sound of the harp (ages 6+), stepping into the rhythmic world of the bouzouki (ages 10+), or trying the unique challenge of the uilleann pipes (ages 10+), participants will enjoy a relaxed, engaging first encounter with traditional music‑making. To ensure high‑quality, interactive instruction, sessions are kept small—6 places per harp or bouzouki session, and 4 places per pipes session.

Workshops run in 30‑minute sessions between 10:30am and 12:00pm.
