Please see attached the proposed set of tunes to be learned for TradFest, click here
What is the plan?
1. All tunes marked with an * are the ones to learn.
2. All students are invited to take part in our Trad for Schools open session on Sunday 24th March in O'Connor Square Tullamore at 11am (Provisionally) (Families are all welcome to attend and be a part of this event too)
3. Do I have to learn all the tunes? No, one doesn't. Learn as much as you can and play the tunes you are comfortable with.
4. Everyone will be playing these tunes as part of a group. No pressure on any individual.
5. Am I allowed to have my notes on the day? Yes, Totally up to you
6. Is there a set dress attire? No, wear your own choice of clothing
7. If it is raining what do we do? We will have a plan B ready which we will make you all aware of nearer the time.
8. This will be a fun event for all the family to participate in and it will also promote the Traditional Irish music in our schools.
9. All melodic and accompaniment instruments are welcome to attend our open session.
Best of luck with the music, learning and fun. More details to follow later.
